4th of July Magic

Aberdeen Parks and Recreation hosted me for their “Aberdeen Splash!” festival on the 4th of July.  It’s my third or fouth year being part of their event in Grays Harbor.

Strolling magic is one of the most versatile forms of entertainment. It can be done anytime, anywhere, for any size group, and for any age. I spent time entertaining families waiting in lines for rides as well as going where the teens were hanging out.

Nothing's better than seeing magic happen inches from your eyes!

I also performed my stand-up show to a huge group of people who gathered in the bleacher seating and stood and watched.

I've just pulled an orange off this "3D sketchpad." A young lady will be glad to find her signed $20 bill inside the orange!

Thanks to photographer Anice Bommerscheim for the fantastic photos. See more photos at http://www.flickr.com/photos/jeffevans.  After Aberdeen I headed to Tumwater where I’m practically a tradition at their “Thunder Valley” 4th of July Festival.  Beautiful, warm weather was perfect for big crowds.  Look for video from this event in the future.
